We offer lessons every Monday from 7-9 p.m.
(including most holidays!)
Our beginning Irish Céilí dance class briefly covers the basic
footwork for jigs and reels (and the occasional waltz or hornpipe),
followed by a mix of easy progression dances and an introduction to
the Four-Hand Reel, a more advanced dance. No previous dance
experience required!
The advanced Irish céilí dance lessons cover more advanced
footwork and style, as well as dances from our large repertoire of
traditional dances and local dances in traditional style.
On the Second Monday of most months, guest teacher Michael
Riemer from the local branch of Comhaltas teaches an Irish Set
Dancing workshop from 8-9 p.m.
All lessons are $5.*
*If this class cost presents a difficulty, please join us anyway -- no one is turned away
for lack of funds, just let your teacher know privately and we will gladly work with
you to arrange a sliding fee or waive it entirely.
